Perfom cabinets for flammable liquids, paints and solvents: benefits and features
The internal trays, used also as drip catchers, prevent accidental spillages of hazardous and polluting substances. Installed in the cabinet under the shelves with drainage holes or as shelves with raised edges to hold bottles and cans, they are ideal for containing inflammable liquids (category GHS 1-3) and water-polluting liquids (categories GHS 1-4).
The external watertight collection trays allow any losses of liquid in the chemical cabinet with hinged doors to channelled externally, with a total spillage capacity of 59 litres thanks to the practical “C-shaped” riser. The epoxy powder coating makes the tray highly resistant to chemicals and the cabinet suitable for storing harmful or flammable materials in GHS categories 1-3 or GHS 1-4.
The paint and solvent cabinets can feature one or two hinged doors complete with a cylinder lock and key. Both doors feature top and bottom vent openings to ensure air circulation and prevent potentially toxic fumes from building up inside the cabinet. If you are looking for a space-saving solution, then opt for the cabinets for chemicals with sliding doors. These are available in the two-colour version and avoid the inconvenience of opening outwards like typical hinged doors.
The cabinet for paints and solvents can be fitted with a base complete with cover that raises it off the floor and thus facilitates cleaning operations. It is installed in place of the external watertight tank and makes it easier to move the cabinet within the company premises. Once the front cover has been removed, the unit can be transported within the work area using a pallet truck or forklift truck.
