various layers of beech wood which are planed, glued and pressed together.
This makes the worktop nondeformable and load and wear resistant. |

WORKTOP WITH 3 CROSS-GLUED LAYERS |
||
This is made from three
cross-glued layers of beech wood in order to form a smooth surface which
is then treated with an antiseptic material. The three layers are joined
together by a toothed milling process which offers a larger connection
surface. |

The Urphen worktop includes
an inner layer of pressed chipboard between two layers of special green
synthetic material. The polished and impregnated upper surface forms
an oil and grease resistant surface. All four edges are finished with
beech wood. |

MULTIPLEX TOPS WITH STEEL COVER AND OIL PROOF RUBBER COATING |

This type of worktop comprises
a multiplex top covered with a sheet of electrogalvanised steel coated
with a layer of oil proof rubber. The rubber is between 1.2 and 1.5
mm thick. The rubber-coated electrogalvanised steel sheet, featuring
a L-shaped profile at the two long sides, can also be supplied separately.
It is easy to be fitted as no screws are required. |
